Joystar Miniature Poodles

PUPPIES

Puppies are reared in our home and come vaccinated, vet checked and registered with CCC Queensland.

Our puppies are sociallised with children and other pets and given lots of love and attention from day one.

The following are from emails I have received from my puppy owners - as you can see the pups are all fitting into their new homes and bringing their owners lots of happiness, fun and laughter - I do love to hear about the puppies and how they grow up and hope you enjoy reading some of these extracts too.

Hi Jenny,  just emailing to tell you how happy I am with my pup.

He has the loveliest temperament.

He is very exuberent, very gentle and loving   I don't think he has a mean bone in his body.  He reminds me of a confident,  happy   good natured school boy with a great generosity of spirit.  He is growing quite tall but I am happy about that - he is extremely willing to please and has plenty of personality.   I trust all the other puppies are similiar.

So thank you I couldn't wish for a nicer boy.

Hi Jenny,

Congratulations on the arrival of the new babies, you will certainly have your hands full when Gemma’s arrive in May.

Coco has grown well and is now 9 kilo’s in weight and about 15inchs in height, so her being the smallest in the litter hasn’t stopped her from reaching her full potential.

The vet was stating that she is very well bred and has a lovely calm personality, her colour is still good like creamed honey, she is now 11 months old, loves to go for walks and loves to play with Sophie but can be naughty at times if she feels that she is being ignored and will bark not only for her evening dinner, but to get my attention.

I can honestly say she is all that I hoped that she would be and more.

 Regards

Joy

Hi Jenny

Thanks for the email. I’ve been meaning to email you for ages to let you know how he is going. He is wonderful and doing absolutely fine. He’s been to the vet for his vaccination and has his next in a couple of week’s time. The vet gave him a clean bill of health and he was very well behaved.

He’s a clever and sweet little boy who loves to play and loves being around us, even if it’s just to sit and watch. He’s eating well and loves the VIP puppy roll and kangaroo mince.

The cats and Louis are getting used to each other. The cats are mostly keeping their distance. He seems to want to get to know them but when he approaches they run and he thinks it’s a game so chases them!

I’ll send you some photos when I can get the camera from my husband and upload them.

I hope you are all ok in QLD and haven’t been hit by the cyclone.

 Kind regards,

Stephanie

We had a trip to puppy school lastnight. So funny, Paris was under our chairs for the meet and greet part for quite a while till she really got into the swing of it towards the end, We were all told not to worry as some stay under the chairs for a few nights. Eventually Paris got playing with a white poodle and a boxer so she has class. Got through her little learning bit and absolutely crashed on the floor of car at my feet on the way home.

Dear Jenny and Ross, Mandy says thank you for the birthday wishes. She had a very nice day, a walk in the sun and chicken necks for dinner, then a big sleep on the lounge last night beside me while I knitted and watched TV. She was clipped at home early July, not a good time, but she has a new pink wool coat that I knitted and looks gorgeous. She is inside most of the time and gets on very well with Boo, my black Oriental, they sleep together on the bed every night. She has been desexed and is a very healthy, happy girl and loves her walks, and loves visitors so much. I have lots of photos, but don't know how to email them, when my son or daughter comes up they will email some. Mandy has a teddy like Gemma. Please give Madeline and Gemma a pat from us.

Hi Jennifer,

Millie is so gorgeous – she adores us and is fitting in to our family really well – she even charmed my Mum and Dad who were visiting from down south last week.

Today we take her to the vet for her next round of shots and I am investigating puppy school. She is very intelligent and is learning very fast. As you predicted, she knew her name by the end of the first day and is already fine with the basic commands. She was using the doggy door within 24 hours and can now access the family area of the house and verandah as well as the yard.

She is a ball of fun and loves to play – for a few minutes and then just wants to sit and sleep close to you. Millie is company dog (which is exactly what we wanted) and is excellent with the children! I have attached a couple of photos so you can see how she is growing

Hi Ross and Jenny

Thanks for the photos, we love the updates on Gemma, it’s great to compare the two.  We just love Claudia, she is such fun.  She has spent most of last week dismantling the xmas tree, we have large gold baubles that are about the same size as a tennis ball and we are finding them everywhere.  Teddy and Claudia are the best of mates and always together.  She looks a different dog since her hair cut.  Unfortunately she looks scruffy in the photos I have attached because they are always rough housing and rolling around with bits of each other in their mouths.  Claudia loves to go for a walk and behaves very well on the lead.  She has learnt to sit for her food and treats.  She’s a real snuggler and often jumps up on us for a cuddle.  Our daughter  is enjoying her so much.

Have a fantastic Christmas and we will try to bring Claudia up for visit some time soon.

Hello Jenny  Sunnie is just beautiful and he has settled in very well, so has Rusty. They both had all their lovely wool on them when I left home today, but the groomer was coming, so they might be a bit bald when I see them again. I Hope all is well for both of you and of course your beautiful trio!

  Hi Jenny,

Thanks, we’re glad Truffle has her chosen name. She’s being very good –she learns more every day. It took her just 2 days to learn how to shake hands, and the same time to learn how to drop. She goes down the stairs when she needs to go to the toilet so we can let her outside, and only very rarely has accidents. Clever girl! She is also getting better at being left alone, which makes us much happier! Right now she is working off her dinner by being hyperactive in the bean-bag and running laps around the couch

I was so proud of her over the weekend visiting a new house and playing with an assortment of children –my niece and nephew are only 6 months and 2 years, and she was very gentle –lots of licks but no nips, which was brilliant!  She was very keen to be friends with the maltese where we were staying… the maltese is quite a bit older though and wasn’t so keen to play!  She did very well in the car once she got over the initial uncertainness, and seemed to enjoy the rest of the trip. I’m amazed how as she grows she gets more beautiful every day!

I just loved this one sent to me not long after Truffle arrived by plane in Tasmania

Dear Jenny, Ross, Mum, Gemma & Jake,

I am having fun here in Tasmania. My flight was not too bad –I arrived and was met by my new friends. I was feeling very hungry and ate my chicken, then I settled down in the car far a nap on the way home. I have been trying out walking with a collar and lead around the garden. This is fun and I am getting used to it, but I prefer to be off lead so I can run and chase bits of dry grass. The flight didn’t seem to hurt my tummy at all. I have been going to the toilet outside most times, and had a very good night –I only got up a couple of times, and settled straight back down again. My new friends are proud of me. My favourite thing to do is play fetch with my rope toy. When I have had a big play with my toys, I follow my new owners around until I am tired enough to sleep. Then I sleep a lot until I am awake enough to bounce again.

Thank you for taking such good care of me. My new friends say I am a sweet well-behaved pup and they are very very happy to have me as part of their family. They said to tell you thank you very much for the beautiful photos of my parents and me, and for the info. on how to take care of me. I have attached some pictures so you can see what I’ve been up to.

Love,

 Truffle
